Welcome to Aggieland!

Howdy Students!!

Welcome to Bryan/ College Station!  On behalf of the Board of the United Campus Ministry (UCM), I wish to extend to you a warm welcome to this community and more specifically the ministry that is UCM.  As you may not know, UCM continues to be a joint missionary endeavor of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the United Church of Christ and are one of 80 religious organizations on campus at Texas A&M and one of 900 student organizations.  Together, we serve a student population of 60,000 students from throughout the United States with the mission to reach students with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

During my time as a student at Texas A&M, it was a world not like anything else I had experienced coming from a small town in East Texas.  I was amazed by this community, the learning, the traditions, and the friendships I formed which I continue to cherish.    I remain very thankful for having the support of campus ministry in helping forge those relationships, strengthening my faith, and furthering my journey.  I certainly would not be the man, imperfect and all, I am today without my incredible experiences in college.

Having now lived in College Station for over 25 years, it has been exciting to see the growth in its size but as well as the richness and depth of the great students who come to live here.  There are many fun and great things to do during your time in college.  Football games, midnight yell, silver taps, and hanging out with good friends are but a few.  I encourage you to get involved in UCM as a way to meet new folks, develop friendships, share your faith journey, and ask the difficult questions in a non-judgmental environment that is safe and respectful.  This ministry, Kyle, and our board are here to serve you, support you, and fulfill the mission God has called us to be:

Welcomed by Christ…..Called to Serve…..Open to All.

Blessings in Christ & Gig’Em!
